Snow Geese!

These pictures are from Sutter National Wildlife Refuge and Gray Lodge Wildlife area. The first picture is from Sutter, the rest are from Gray Lodge. Monday my brother Richard and I went to these refuges up north. I borrowed my father’s new 70-300mm lens. Lots of birds, but the Snows were the highlight.

Sutter National Wildlife Refuge

I need to learn my way around this refuge.  This was my first time there and I was pressed for time.  The refuge is actually about 20 miles north of Yolo county in Sutter county.
